About Me

Hi, I’m Delia—maker of things, baker of bread, and professional wearer of too many hats (figuratively… but also literally if the sun’s out).

Deez Thingz started as a way to support my love for all things homemade—bread, jam, soap, lotion, tea, you name it. I’ve spent years perfecting recipes, learning the hard way (hello, soap volcanoes), and collecting more supplies than anyone needs—but somehow, not enough shelves.

For nearly 20 years, I worked for the same organization, building skills, gaining experience, and showing up every day with dedication. But over time, my passion started tugging me in a different direction—toward the joy of creating with my own two hands. So I took a leap, left the comfort of the known, and followed my heart straight into this handmade adventure.

Now, I run this little business from our acre of desert magic in Hereford, Arizona, with help from my husband, my chickens, and occasional caffeine-induced inspiration. Some days I’m elbows-deep in dough, others I’m infusing calendula oil like a garden witch. I go where the creativity flows (and sometimes where the mess spills).

Around here, you’ll find products that are made by hand, with love, good ingredients, and a little sparkle of cheekiness—because when you enjoy what you’re doing, it’s not really work. It’s a whole lot better.

Thanks for being here. I hope something you find brings a little joy to your day—or at least makes your hands smell amazing.
